I have Zone Alarm and currently thinking of switching to Comodo, by the way.

I use Avast. I'm personally very happy with it.

I'm currently using ZoneAlarm, and I've been happy with it for years now... though the most recent update completely changed not just the interface, but the way you have control over your programs, and I'm not sure if I'm cool with that or not!

I've been with ZA myself since '06 but I'm not sure if ZA's Force Field is messing with my Gamma resulting with my monitor looking very dark. I used to be able to disable it on Startup and my display would be fine but it won't go away now.

Oh wow, that is very odd... What program are you using to set your monitor gamma? Perhaps if you are using the software that came with your monitor rather than the default windows controls (If we can call them that) then the Force Field is interfering with that application. If this is the case, is there any way to add program exceptions to the Force Field control? I'm going to admit that I've never tried to find controls for the Force Field before, though!

Yeah, it's Quick Gamma. I haven't experienced any problem with it before force field came. Also, thanks for bringing up the program controls. I realized I haven't looked into it and will definitely check it out. I got so used with my disable-on-startup method I forgot all about it.
