I remember doing this to "impress" a college buddy of mine who was really,really into comics (and was actually better than me) but he never got to see it because I dropped out the following school year, good thing too... whew, what was I thinking!

I copied Gambit and Wolverine from my brother-in-law's X-MEN, I forgot which chapter but they were in space, fighting doppelganger of some sort, Xavier could walk and Claremont wrote the story.
