I did this this morning during my withdrawal from computer use while still waiting to get a new monitor.
My old monitor died the morning after I did Jovial [link] haha. I turned it on and noticed some loud crackling noise and blue sparks form behind the tube. I took it to a repairman and said it was the flyback(?). Anyway, it's a goner.
