Pencil and Watercolor, traditionals again!

I just bought a new scanner yesterday and I made this simple sketch of my character, Dipatuan and painted it! I'm so happy I could scan something in color again after two years of just black and white at HALF the scanning area!

So much Exclamation Points!!!

I like how this character looks young and yet is ready for battle.

is it only in the comicbook industry where "too much exclamation points" is a generally accepted valid form of expression ?

that being said: some of the comicbook industry traditions fly against traditional literary usage

but then that's because comics are both halves and whole of the literal and visual arts.

(ganda painting mo ha...photoshop ba yung medyo washed out na kulay ng paa niya sa malayo?)

Oo. Dapat lalagyan ko ng acrylic na puti, kaso naisip ko masisira yung original.

Looks really nice, good detail on his right foot

congrats on your new scanner!!! There's never enough exclamation points when acquiring more tools to do a better job :)
